FAQ’s Question: Seriously, can I name the star anything I want? For instance, can I name my star "Jedward Forever"? Answer: Yes, you can name your star anything you want. There are absolutely zero restrictions for the name. So, there's no one to stop you from naming a billion-year-old celestial body after a boy band. Question. How long does it take to receive my confirmation certificate? Answer This depends on how you choose to register your star. If you register online then you will receive your star confirmation certificate within 10 working days. If you fill out and return your form by post then this period of time is slightly increased to 28 days. How long do I have to register my gift? Your gift code expires 12 months after the date of purchase so you have 12 months in which to register your gift. Question: Will scientists be required to use my star's name? Answer: No. We wouldn't expect someone with a PhD in Astrophysics to be required to call that billion-year-old celestial body, "I love Jedward".
Remember its the thought that counts.
