Remember this DVR has motion detection software built in as standard and so will only record when there is activity in front of the camera. This saves you hours of time going back over blank tapes where nothing has happened. Using the receiver you can check whatever the camera is watching from the comfort of your sitting room.

You can connect 2 cameras up to this unit and view both images with picture in picture ( PIP ) but only the main image will record.

The compact DVS with 128mb SD card can store about 2000 picture/400 video clips. The basic function of the Digital Motion Detect Video Recorder can be summarized: DVS=CCTV+DVR, that is to say, the camera can shoot and record automatically/manually once a moving object appears, it stores the pictures in the internal memory or SD card; the user can examine the pictures on a TV (monitor)
